When I set out to revamp “The Building Code” podcast, the goal was bigger than a fresh coat of paint – I wanted to reignite listener engagement, grow the audience and make sure the podcast stayed a trusted go-to in the industry. I built a strategy that leaned into what makes the show valuable: real conversations and expert insights.
That meant updating the format, rethinking promotion and launching dedicated social channels (which have already racked up 90,000+ impressions since November 2024). With over 373,000 all-time downloads and counting, “The Building Code” isn’t just content – it’s a core piece of Buildertrend’s thought leadership.
And did you know? Only about 2% of podcasts ever hit 250 episodes – we’ve done that and then some. This revamp wasn’t just a refresh, it was a chance to reinforce Buildertrend’s authority and keep delivering value that builds trust, not just traffic.
In addition to strategy, I also booked guests, managed the schedule and wrote show notes for every episode.
